Plans and Specifications are for viewing purposes only. In order to bid on the project you must purchase the documents directly from Lead Edge Design Group, Inc. The work generally consists of runway rehabilitation. Bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope marked Bid for the Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project and addressed to the City of Gainesville, Attention: Lisa Poole, Airport Manager, 300 Henry Ward Way, Suite 201, P.O. Box 2496, Gainesville, Georgia 30501. The envelope shall bear the name of the bidder, bidders address and any applicable license number. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount is required. In lieu of the bid bond, a cashiers check, certified check or cash may be accepted. Contract bonds (Performance and Labor & Material Payment) will be required at contract execution, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount, provided by sureties authorized to conduct business in the State of Georgia. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days, unless that bid is withdrawn per state law. A Notice-of-Award for the Contract will be issued once a successful bidder has been determined and funding has been secured. Bidders are required to submit all questions in writing to arostin@leadedgedesign.com.The deadline for bidders questions is 5:00 pm on August 16th, 2022. The Sponsor reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise or abandon this solicitation at the Sponsors sole discretion. Nothing herein shall be construed as a commitment on the part of the Sponsor to award a contract.
