Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Acquisition Title: Install Electrical Generator at Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program (PTRP) Project No. 671-18-118 Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete all required project work in accordance with the provided SOW, Specifications, and Drawings. Project is located at the Audie L. Murphy VAMC 7400 Merton Minter, San Antonio, Texas 78229. This is a "Competitive" requirement Set Aside 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Magnitude of the Construction Project: 500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238210 ($16.5 Mil) Pre-Bid Site Visit shall be held on August 16, 2022 @ 9:00 am CST. All interested Contactors shall meet at the San Antonio VAMC Engineering Office. All Contractors attending the Pre-Bid Site Visit may be required to be COVID Screened to enter the facility. Please ensure you arrive early to allow enough time to go through screening. Picture ID and Face Mask will be required. Cut off for submission of RFI(s)/Questions shall be August 19, 2022 @ 3:00 PM CST. All RFI(s)/Questions must be emailed to the following email: joyce.mills@va.gov. Please include the solicitation No.36C25722B0032 on the subject line. RFI(s)/Questions must be submitted in word format. All Bidders must submit a Bid Guarantee as part of their Bid Package. Additionally, the Awardee must be able to obtain the necessary level of Performance and Payment Bonds. SUBMISSION OF BIDS: All bids shall be submitted via email to the following email address: joyce.mills@va.gov by the date and time as stated in Block 13a below. Please include the solicitation No.36C25722B0032 on the subject line of your email when submitting your bid package. **All Contractors are required to comply with EO 14042 regarding COVID vaccines. Note: All Bidders must comply with submission of the required documentation for OSHA-EMR Requirements and Self-Performed Work IAW "Limitations on Subcontracting" (VAAR 852.219-10). Funds are not currently available for this solicitation. Award of a contract as a result of this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment of this contract may be made. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government for contract purposes until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer will confirm availability of funds prior to award of a contract. 1.1 Purpose Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, excavation, grading and furnish labor and materials and perform work to Install an Electrical generator and associated components at the Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program (PTRP) Housing Unit for Audie L Murphy Hospital, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, Texas, 78229 as required by drawings and specifications. The PTRP Housing Unit is located at 4949 Gus Eckert Rd, San Antonio, TX 78240. 2. SCOPE OF WORK 2.1 General Provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary for site preparation, demolition, alterations, retaining walls, curbs, paved surfaces, grading, drainage, and certain other items necessary for installation and commissioning of a new 175kW, 120Y208V, 3O electrical generator. 2.1.1 Work Shall Include General Construction: Project includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required construction work on this project including; alterations, retaining walls, curbs, paved surfaces, grading, drainage, electrical generator, necessary demolition and certain other items and shown in the project drawings and specifications. A site visit is recommended prior to bidding. All numbers are approximate. Contractor need to verify all amounts. If there is a discrepancy in the amounts provided and or any condition affecting work shall be brought to the attention of the VA Representative before proceeding with the work. 2.1.2 Subcontractors The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and coordinating the services of any and all third-party Contractors performing other services on site and other entities as part of the contract to ensure the expected quality, timely delivery, and documented final product. O&M Manuals, As-Built drawings in CAD and PDF, applicable permits, installation, testing, and commissioning are also required. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
