The Contractor shall perform furnish all labor, equipment, materials and supplies to rehabilitate the west staircase located in Village Hall. The work shall include the following tasks: Patch plaster walls and ceilings throughout the west staircase.
Paint all walls and ceiling with two (2) coats of Sherwin Williams SuperPaint Interior Acrylic Latex, color TBD
Scrape and paint all metal stairs with Latex non-slip coating.
Patch, prepare, and paint all masonry stairs with a Latex non-slip coating.
Prepare and paint all window trim, doors, door trim, and handrails with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams SuperPaint Interior Acrylic Latex, color TBD
An environmental assessment will be provided to all Bidders. Note, no asbestos was found in the staircase, however, lead-based paint was discovered in some areas. Contractor agrees to work in accordance with all Federal, State, County and Local requisites and laws, especially in the handling of lead based paint. Delivery Point

08/12/2022 04:00 PM EDT Bids shall be made on the Proposal forms furnished with the Bid Documents. A Bid Bond, Certified Check or Bank Check in the amount of 5% of bid must accompany the bid proposal. Bidders who submit certified checks must accompany them with a Consent of Surety from a recognized Bonding Company. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Pleasantville, New York and are to be held by Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside as "Rehabilitation of the West Staircase at Village Hall, Bid #2022-5, Village of Pleasantville, New York."
