Renovation of a multi-residential development in Orillia, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
This Request for Tender is being issued by the County of Simcoe on behalf of Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC). SCHC has a planned project to upgrade its facility at 246 Oxford Street, Orillia, Ontario. We are seeking qualified contractors to submit pricing for removing existing and upgrading the exterior entry doors (2 per unit, Front and rear doors) for 32 units totalling 64 doors. Completion of project is to be as early as possible with completion no later than December 31, 2022. A Mock-up door(s) will also be scheduled with the Successful Bidder; this will include the complete installation of one of each style door. The unit will be reviewed for finish, construction practices etc. The evaluation of the mock-up unit will be conducted by the SCHC and the County of Simcoe. Any deficiencies will be noted and discussed with the contractor. This unit will then set the standard for the remaining suites.
