Site work for a water / sewer project in Milton, Vermont. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace 4,200 LF of existing 2, 4, and 6 inch water mains with 12" ductile iron. Loop water system to improve hydraulics and fire protection. 70 year old water mains; install 2nd fire flow/pressure reducing valve to augment fire flows on the low-pressure hydraulic zone of the water system and provide redundancy for the existing fire flow/prv on River Street. Eliminate a normally closed isolation valve between the low and highpressure hydraulic zones. $1.7M at 4% for 30yrs Bonding required; 30 year 4% assumed $91,100/year The portion at the rail crossing should be complted prior to the RR crossing project This project is in included in the Town of Milton FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
