Site work and paving for a road / highway in Auburn, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

All bids shall include Contractor Bid Form, fully completed and executed Contractor's Bid for Public Work - Form 96, IRS Form W-9, E-Verify of Work Eligibility Status, Affidavit Concerning Employment of Unauthorized Aliens and Affidavit Concerning Investment Activities in Iran. Contractor must also submit with the bid, a Bid Bond or a Cashier's check made payable to the CITY OF AUBURN, INDIANA, for five percent (5%) of the bid total. All bid bonds must clearly define the name, address, telephone number and fax number of the insuring company PLUS the same information for the agent PLUS proof that the insurance company and the agent are licensed to do business in the State of Indiana. In accordance with IC 4-13-18, contractor shall provide proof of employee drug testing policy, for projects of at least $150,000, per IC 36-1-12-24. For bid greater than $300,000.00, Contractor must provide a copy of valid State Public Works Division Certificate pursuant to IC 4-13.6-4 to qualify for all public works projects, except street projects. For street project bids greater than $300,000.00, Contractor must provide a copy of valid INDOT certificate of qualification pursuant to IC 8-23-10. Applies to all contractor tiers as defined by IC 5-16-13, excludes suppliers as defined by IC 4-13.6.1.20. Center Street (Metcalf Ditch to 7th Street) Milling & Resurfacing project begins at the wooden bridge over Metcalf Ditch, and continues to the southern ROW of 9th Street. The Project continues from the northern ROW of 9th Street to the southern ROW at 7th Street (State Road 8). Project consists of milling & resurfacing of approximately 1,700 linear feet of asphalt street pavement at a width of 30 feet for a total area of 5,680 square yards. Milling depth shall be 2-1/2 inches throughout with pavement replacement consisting of 1-1/2 inches of #9 HMA binder and 1-1/4 inches of HMA surface, including paint striping. The City of Auburn will make reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities.
