Awardee: Waldrop Wireless Technology for $282,600 The City of Horseshoe Bay seeks to upgrade Water Department Communications Facilities and install new infrastructure to assist with high-speed Internet growth and expansion efforts within the City. As part of this effort, three new communications towers (80' and 100') are required. The first tower, 100', will be located at 30 32.031'N, 98 19.842'W (South Tower). The second tower, 80', will be located at 30 31.868'N, 98 22.235'W (Central Tower). The third tower, 80', will be located at 30 33.191'N, 98 23.742'W (West Tower). Tower Specs: Freestanding Rohn (SSV or RT) style tower or equivalent. Total of two (2) towers with height to be 80'above ground. Total of one (1) tower with height to be 100'above ground. Due to the proximity to the Airport, FAA/FCC clearance may will be required to be obtained by the selected vendor. Work with selected vendor to set timeline on tower construction shall be after award. All towers shall be constructed, and all work completed before January 30, 2023. All proposals submitted must be valid for a minimum period of ninety days from proposal due date.
