No bids received. Asphalt overlay on existing asphalt aprons on 8 County Road roads and extending aprons with 4" of asphalt. Work will include square cutting of the existing aprons before extending the aprons to the described lengths. Moffat County will prep for the 4" mat where aprons will be extended. Contractor's work will also include milling 9800 square feet of first street before the 4" overlay portion. It is intended that work covered by this contract may begin as soon as the project has been awarded and an Agreement has been signed and that the asphalt project will be completed by September 15, 2022 Bid Security shall be made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of the bidder's maximum bid price, and in the form of a certified or bank check, or a bid bond issued by a surety The bid security of the successful bidder will be retained until such bidder has executed the Agreement and furnished the required Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, whereupon it will be returned. If the successful bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement and furnish the required Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond within fifteen (15) days of the Notice of Award, Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the bid security of the bidder will be forfeited. Owner may retain the bid security of any bidder whom Owner believes to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award until thirty days after the bid is awarded. Bid security of other bidders will be returned within seven (7) days of the bid award date. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The Moffat County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in Bids, and to accept the Bid that is to the best interests of Moffat County.
