The Village of Sidney is seeking the services of a consulting planner/community developer to provide planning, economic development, housing development, program design and grantwriting services and like services as needed. Resilience Design and Engineering services will be procured separately. The Village of Sidney is seeking qualifications from planners and community developers to support ongoing projects. A qualified firm will have expertise in planning, designing, determining feasibility of and overseeing advancement of a variety of projects and programs with an emphasis on advancing visionary strategies for climate adaptation. Respondents should be skilled team leaders since it is expected that they will subcontract with other firms for specialized services and manage the work of other contractors. The selected professional will implement current initiatives and help the Village to plan, design, capitalize and evaluate additional projects. One or more planner/community developer may be selected. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Contract term: five year contract with option to extend for three years The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
