Site work and paving for a civil project in McHenry, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
In accordance with the requirements of Federal Public Law 92-582 (Brooks Act) and ILCS 510 (Local Government Professional Services Selection Act), the City of McHenry is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms for Architectural and/or Engineering services associated with the Oakwood Bridge Design. The selected firm will be responsible for the Phase II - Design Engineering. The scope of the improvements will include: Removal of a 5-section CMP culvert and replacement with a triple-12'x5' pour-in-place or precast box culvert. The preliminary anticipated construction cost is $550,000. The exact scope of the Architectural and/or Engineering Services is to be determined during the Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) but is anticipated to include: Topographical Survey, Wetland Delineation, Easement Acquisition Assistance, Permitting, Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost, Final Design Plans, Bidding Assistance. Refer to the RFQ for submittal requirements.
