Renovation of a municipal facility in Sumiton, Alabama. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of 8/31/2022, all bids rejected by the City. Scope of work includes demolition and removal of existing systems, installation of new HVAC system and controls. All documents are available via electronic, digital (pdf) files to prospective Bidders at no charge. A certified check payable to the order of the City of Sumiton, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety company in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid, but not to exceed $10,000.00, must be submitted with each Bid. All Bidders must be properly licensed by the Alabama Licensing Board of General Contractors. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding.
