Storm Sewer Lining The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Engineer's Estimate is $550,000 The work included in this project generally includes the televising, cleaning and lining of a 48" x 60" galvanized elliptical storm sewer with a UV Cured in place GRFP Liner. All proposed work shall meet all City, EPA requirements and ordinances of which the Contractor shall become familiar with. All storm service connections shall be located and properly maintained. This linear work shall start at the downstream end and work in the upstream direction. The trunk sewer begins at the main Gleneagles Golf Course Pond, down Hawkins to the rear yards and turns toward Glenwood Drive. The section being lined begins at Glenwood Drive and empties into a pond located on the golf course hole #3 and is located in an easement between Orin and Framingham Lane. It is anticipated both ponds will require dewatering to a level that allows work to proceed. A siphon system for dewatering the main pond at the outlet on Timothy Lane is recommended, as it can provide the lowering over night with no noise related to a generator. Lake 3 on the golf course may require more traditional pumping if a siphon system cannot be implemented due to geometry, however siphon systems are preferred due to noise reduction. The Contractor must maintain positive drainage in the project area at all times and will schedule his work accordingly to insure that storm water will be draining to prevent ponding, erosion, and flooding. Keeping mud/construction debris off the pavement will be a high priority. Safety will not be compromised. In the event City personnel are called out responding to a flooding event, accumulated mud on the pavement, or other emergency/safety situation, the Contractor will be responsible for all expenses incurred by City personnel and equipment.
