This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Pickering, Ontario. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
Municipal Property Assessment Corporation's (MPAC) integrated access control and intrusion detection system has been supplied and installed by Chubb Edwards. MPAC has established standard security protocols and practices in all MPAC office locations as a means to provide a safe and secure workplace. MPAC's security program includes remote monitoring of security system alarms, including intrusion and panic/duress alarms, resulting in appropriate alarm response. MPAC requires alarm monitoring services and dispatching of appropriate response, as transmitted by our security systems. MPAC also requires the maintenance of alarm transmission devices inclusive but not limited to GSM and LAN integration units. MPAC has existing locations throughout Ontario (please refer to https://www.mpac.ca/en/Contact for all of the current locations and addresses) with varying service requirements. MPAC also requires installation of new GSM and/or LAN integration units when offices are relocated. Intrusion detection alarm transmissions are disabled during business hours, Monday through Friday at all MPAC offices across Ontario. PANIC/DURESS alarms, however, are transmitted 24/7. MPAC office alarms (including PANIC/DURESS alarms) are transmitted by Landline and/or GSM and/or LAN Integration device over internet. Office intrusion detection alarm incidents are anticipated at a rate of four hundred (400) alarm incidents per year, for all MPAC locations combined. These alarm incidents may result in multiple alarms for the same incident. Office PANIC/DURESS alarms are anticipated at a rate of twenty-four (24) alarms per year, for all MPAC locations combined. Please refer to the attachment titled, Appendix I - Confirmation to Provide Service & Inventory for a complete listing of MPAC offices and current transmission device inventory. The Successful Respondent will provide alarm system monitoring services, inclusive of dispatching the necessary party per MPAC's alarm contact instructions; maintaining alarm monitoring technology at all sites; and installing new alarm monitoring equipment when a new office is brought online.
