The West Lyon Community School District of Lyon County, IA is soliciting Requests for Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk Services (CMR) from interested firms to assist with demolition, renovation, and addition to the existing K-12 facilities located in Inwood, IA. Following the RFQ, Requests for Proposals will be sent out August 25 th to the Construction Managers meeting the qualifications for the project. Interviews will be conducted at the West Lyon Community School District Library, 1787 Iowa 182, Inwood, IA, 51240 the week of September 12 th - 16 th , if necessary. The District has contracted with CO-OP Architecture for Architecture and Engineering services in relation to this project and therefore, the selected firm would be assisting them throughout the design and specification development of this project and would also provide construction manager services throughout the construction. The District is required to competitively bid the project once plans and specifications are complete and the School Board is comfortable with the cost estimates and construction timelines. AIA Document A133 will be utilized for the agreement between the CMR and District.
