Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project includes rehabilitation of bridge deck and other miscellaneous bridge repairs at five different bridge structures along the Alaska Highway: Jackfish Creek Bridge located at Km 424.8 of the Alaska Highway, Toad River Bridge located at Km 671.7, Lower Liard Bridge located at Km 763.3, Coal River Bridge located at Km 823.3, and Hyland River Bridge located at Km 937.3. All five bridges are located between Fort St. John, BC and Watson Lake, YK. The work under this contract generally comprises of the following but is not limited to: Project Management. Supply and maintain of all traffic control for the duration of the works. Quality Management. Removal and disposal of delaminated concrete and preparation of the concrete surface (by hydrodemolition only). Concrete supply, install, and cure of bridge deck. Maintenance of joints. Miscellaneous bridge repairs such as crack repair and joint caulking replacement. Surveys (construction layout, payment quantities, as-built survey, and others as required). Environmental protection. TIMELINE: Tender was cancelled. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000.
