The City of Port Angeles is seeking proposals from qualified electrical firms to provide personnel, equipment, and materials to augment Citys electrical workforce in transmission line, distribution line, and substations maintenance and repair, Operations resources during peak workloads, emergency storm restoration and other electrical related services as needed for Citys electrical utility. Estimate: $1.85 Million Performance Period: 365 days with the option to renew for additional years, not exceeding 4 years. Project Manager: Jack Nieborsky, P.E, Electrical Engineer at Jnieborsky@cityofpa.us. Preliminary results will be posted to website. Proposals delivered later will not be accepted. The City of Port Angeles is not responsible for delays in delivery. Proposals may be submitted by any of the methods listed below: a. Mailed to City of Port Angeles, Attn: Lucy Hanley, Contract Specialist II, 321 E 5 th St, Port Angeles, Washington 98362-0217. b. Hand-delivered to the Port Angeles City Hall, Attn: Lucy Hanley, Engineering Department 2nd Floor, 321 East 5 th Street, Port Angeles, Washington 98362-0217. All proposals shall be placed in a sealed envelope, which is clearly marked "ELECTRICAL DOCK CREW RFP." Title VI: The City of Port Angeles in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
