Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Port Angeles, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work of this contract will rehabilitate the Ruby Beach Parking area, overlook, and access road from US Highway 101 to improve storm drainage, meet accessibility requirements, and improve traffic flows. The Work includes: o grading; o paving the access road (approx. 1,000 LF) from Highway 101 and main parking lot (approx. 26,000 SF); o painting pavement markings; o fabricating concrete curb, sidewalks, and stairs; o installing stair railing; o constructing storm water catch basin, culvert and outfall; o installing foot-trail tread surface; o furnishing and installing traffic signs; o furnishing and installing bicycle storage rack and gate as shown on the drawings. Project Location: Olympic National Park, Ruby Beach Parking area, milepost 164.5, US101. As of August 12, 2022, construction is underway and began in June 2022. Completion is expected by the end of September 2022. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
