Contract "A" Bituminous Wearing Course. Contract "A" consists of a base bid for Cedar Hill Road & Schoolhouse Road and Alternative #1 for Naomi Lane & Far View Road. All materials must meet PENN DOT Pub. 408 standards. Alternative #1 will be accepted or rejected at the Township's discretion. Bids must be accompanied by certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid made payable to New Britain Township and must be received in sealed envelope prior to the bid opening. Township Municipal Building and contract awards will be considered at the Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors beginning at 7:00 pm on Monday August 15, 2022. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by New Britain Township. Contract "A" will require prevailing wage rates. New Britain Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to award alternatives individually to the lowest qualified bidder.
