The project involves retrofit of an existing Township owned stormwater basin by re-grading forebays, installing amended soils, underdrains, new outlet control structure / outlet pipe, and native plantings. The Contractor is responsible for all erosion control, demolition, grading, installation of stormwater improvements, plantings, trash/material removal, and local permitting. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and work, unless otherwise provided and shall be responsible for the complete supervision, performance and completion of all work in accordance with the drawings, specifications, special provisions and contract. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with Article 15 of the Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 21 13.1 Supplemental Instructions for Submitting Electronic Bids and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Horsham Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of Horsham Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by Horsham Township. Horsham Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
