SCOPE OF WORK: The selected firm must be able to provide the following General Contractor services: Project: Governor Houses Renovation includes the following Scope of Work: Five (5) Units: 1. Installation of metal roofs (house-wrapping); 2. Installation of metal gutters and downspouts; 3. Window replacement; 4. Installation of new SmartSide siding with Tyvek on exterior walls; 5. Install of dry wall, doors, and trim, as well as painting and texturizing; 6. Install new bathroom vanities, and kitchen cabinets and counter-tops; 7. HVAC replacement and/or upgrade; 8. Hot-water heater and plumbing upgrade; 9. Insulating walls in crawl space; 10. Installing new flooring throughout the homes; 11. Replacement of exterior wood entry decks and support foundations; and 12. Upgrade electrical system. Twelve (12) Units (for the five (5) above-listed units plus seven (7) other units), which include the installation of: 1. Dry wall (including texturizing and painting); 2. Trim; 3. Interior doors; 4. Cabinets and counter-tops; 5. Light fixtures; and 6. Furnaces.The OLHA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to award the contract that is in the best interest of the OLHA. Proposals shall include a minimum: 1. Experience and Qualifications: Up to 20 points a. The name, address, phone, and fax number of the firm applying. b. Provide experience and qualifications of professional personnel that will conduct the work for the project including specialized technical skills. c. Proposals must submit a complete Statement of Qualifications form (mandatory). 2. Specialized Experience and Technical Competence: Up to 20 points a. A detailed description of experience pertinent to the scope of work described. b. Proposals should have at least five years of experience with projects similar in scope. c. Interested firms shall provide at least four projects completed in the last seven years.
