The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) accepts and stockpiles scrap metal for recycling at many of its Resource Recovery transfer stations and landfills (the Sites). When the stockpile areas at the sites are nearing capacity, the RDCK requires for the scrap metal to be collected, transported and recycled. The RDCK will develop a multiple site servicing schedule with the contractor, typically on a semiannual basis. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the removal, transportation, and recycling of the scrap metal collected at the Sites in a clean and safe manner. The RDCK is seeking proposals for a Contract to commence on October 1, 2022 and end September 30, 2025 with an option to renew two (2) times for a one (1) year period by mutual agreement by both parties
