The packets are being solicited for the IFB 22-90 Fiber Operations Building and Renovation Project for Huntsville Utilities Fiber Department in Huntsville, Alabama. Huntsville Utilities is allowing attendees in person, until maximum capacity is met in our training room. If you feel you have been exposed to or have any symptoms of the national pandemic virus or 'flu-like' symptoms, do not attend this meeting in person. Please send someone in your place representing your company, use the call-in or virtual application given. Bids will be accepted only from qualified General Contractors licensed by the State of Alabama. Only bids of such Contractors who are licensed by the State of Alabama prior to the date of the bid opening will be considered. The Project is generally described as follows: renovation and addition to our existing propane air facility. Other line items (if applicable) as described in the Specifications and Contract Documents are an integral part of this Contract. The work shall be performed according to the plans and specifications. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. Performance and Payment bonds are required for this project. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
