The City of University Park ("City") is requesting quotes for the tree trimming services on an annual contract basis. The term of this contract is one (1) year from the date of award, with up to four (4) annual renewal options. Questions regarding this Request for Quotes must be issued in writing by August 17, 2022 at 5:00 PM CST . Questions must be emailed to Elizabeth Anderson at eanderson@uptexas.org or posted to Bidsync. The City expects that the total annual contract for these services will cost less than $50,000 in a twelve-month period. This is based on a review of previous years' payments. Thus, this is NOT a formal bid and the formal bidding requirements discussed in Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 252 do not apply to this solicitation. A contract may be awarded to the vendor offering the best value to the City based on factors including price, vendor references, and proximity to the 75205 zip code. Such a contract will be approved by the Parks and Recreation Director. The City may also reject any and all offers and start this process over. City staff will have sole discretion in these matters.
