Cell 1 at Dorchester County Municipal Landfill The Contractor's services shall include new cell construction for Cell 1 at Dorchester County Municipal Landfill. The cell is approximately 8.6 acres in size and construction includes: earthwork, improvements to existing roadways and stream crossings, construction of a new perimeter roadway and stormwater channels, subgrade preparation, installation of compacted clay liner, installation of geosynthetics, installation of protective drainage layer, installation of the leachate collection and transmission system, installation of leachate storage tanks, and construction of a new stormwater management pond. The project shall be completed within 270 calendar days after the start of work; start of work shall begin within seven (7) calendar days after Notice to Proceed is provided by Dorchester County. This Project will be constructed under the provisions of the Bid and Contract Documents for Cell 1 Construction: Dorchester County Municipal Landfill, Dorchester County, Maryland.
