Site work for a mixed-use development in Stuart, Florida. Design plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of February 24, 2023, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose of this project is to design, engineer and permit replacement of three discrete boat ramps in Martin County. The design consultant shall present experience with sea level rise resiliency design approaches. The design consultant will prepare a preliminary analysis to determine the design basis and will include analysis of the individual capacity needs of each boat ramp. The design consultant shall coordinate and contract for; topographic, benthic, and bathymetric surveys as necessary, environmental assessments and geotechnical services. Additional tasks will consist of preliminary and final civil engineering design plans, calculations and cost estimates, regulatory agency permitting (Florida Department of Environmental Protection, South Florida Water Management District, and Army Corp of Engineers), construction bid and administration services. The design consultant shall have experience with grant acquisition management. Identifying and applying for additional grants may be a project task. Funding for this Contract is derived from various funding sources, including state grants. The successful firm must comply with all applicable provisions and requirements. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
