Bids are invited for the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park Districts (MORPD) Design and engineering of park signage and wayfinding strategies contract. This contract will serve as a framework to implement an attractive signage system throughout the District that facilitates wayfinding and identifies facilities and parks for visitors and residents. The goal of the finished project is to develop a document that serves as a blueprint for the implementation of a comprehensive and well-coordinated wayfinding and interpretive signage system that makes the District more customer and visitor friendly, promotes the District brand and provides consistency among the District's many partners and projects. This is a public works contract subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the department of industrial relations. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal, nor be awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the department of Industrial Relations pursuant to labor code section 1725.5. Bids must be submitted in the bid forms contained in the Bid packet available. Bids submitted in any other form will not be accepted. The District reserves the right to waive any irregularities and reject any and all bids.
