Payment and Performance Bonds shall be executed except in the event of a single payment contract with the County of Hidalgo in lieu of Performance Bond. In the event the total amount proposed is $25,000 or less, the successful vendor has the option to enter into a single payment contract with the County of Hidalgo in lieu of a Payment and Performance Bond. Upon submitting sealed bids, participating vendors are required to properly identify (handwritten, typed or printed) sealed envelope and/or packet as follows: Vendor's name and address on the upper left hand corner of the sealed envelope and/or package and RFB number on the lower left hand corner of sealed envelope/and or packet.
