Sunrise Elementary School Additions & Alterations Project consists of a 11,400 square foot, two story, eight-classroom building addition, including storm shelter and related existing interior alterations to existing spaces. Scope of work includes Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Civil. TYPE OF BIDS: Single Lump Sum Bids will be received for the Work being included under the Contract. BID SECURITY: Bids shall be accompanied by bid security for 5 percent of the Base Bid submitted, made payable to the Owner. TIME OF COMMENCEMENT AND COMPLETION: Work may commence on September 13, 2022, and Substantially Complete on/or before August 11, 2023. BONDING REQUIREMENTS: Contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount of 100 percent of Contract Amount. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Parties performing the work with the wireless locks must have all required certifications and qualifications with Vanderbilt Industries to perform work involving Owner's existing Vanderbilt Industries control access system. Refer to Section 00 21 13 for additional requirements and letter of certification due at time of Bidding. WAGE DETERMINATION REQUIREMENTS: Contract is subject to compliance with the applicable Schedule of Prevailing Wages issued by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
