As of August 10, 2022, project is cancelled for good. The Sicangu Wicoti Awayankapi (SWA) Corporation is seeking Requests for Proposals on renovations for one (1) unit or up to ten (10) units for cost. Renovations to be on the exterior and interior. These units are in the following locations: Unit #227 Two Strike; Unit #592 St. Francis; Unit #91 Swift Bear; Unit #105 Parmelee; Unit #106 Parmelee and Unit #789 Black Pipe. The RFP may propose cost for one (1) unit or for up to ten (10) units. The SWA Corporation will be awarding from one (1) unit to ten (10) units. The scope of the work is attached in the back pages of the request for proposal. Scope of Work (s) can be requested by contacting the SWA Procurement Department, 605-747-2203. INDIAN PREFERENCE Pursuant to Section 7(b) the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C.450e (b)) and HUD requirements set forth at 24 CFR 1000.48-1000.54, in awarding this contract, preference shall be given to qualified Indian enterprises and organizations. All firms, Indian and non-Indian alike, must submit a prequalification application by July 29, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Please attach with the Re-Request for Proposal at time of submission. Any proposal submitted must state that it will remain open for sixty (60) days. The successful offer must comply with the RST TECRO Ordinance, including any licensing requirements and fees. Before commencing for work, the company must furnish the SWA Corporation with certificates of insurance showing that minimal insurance is in force and will insure all operations: Commercial General Liability- Combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage of not less than $300,000 per occurrence. Workmans Compensation- In accordance with State Workers Compensation laws. Automobile Liability- Combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage of not less than $300,000 per occurrence. Any amount over $250,000 will require a performance and payment bond and or a 10 percent letter of credit with a cash monitoring disbursement. Please contact SWA Corporation for any questions.
