Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Design and construction of streetscape improvements on Atlantic Avenue, including new sidewalks and street furnishings, dedicated bike lanes, improved plantings and trees, signage and lighting, and other aesthetic features. The project includes the design and construction of streetscape improvements along Atlantic Avenue. The scope of work includes the design of improvements identified in the Resort Area Mobility Plan (RAMP), sidewalk replacements, lane and curb adjustments, dedicated bike lanes updates to street furnishings (benches, bike racks, planters, trash receptacles and newsstand pedestals), improved plantings and street trees, consistent signage, upgrading and replacing infrastructure, and adding art to create a sense of arrival.
