Antrim County Commission on Aging (COA) is accepting sealed bids for Snow Plowing the parking lots AND shoveling the walkways at the Bellaire Senior Center, located at 308 E. Cayuga Street, Bellaire, MI 49615. The season begins November 1, 2022 and continues through April 30, 2023. Bids to be submitted on a per plow basis and interested parties must be able to spread salt/sand and remove snow banks, when warranted. Each bid must contain all three of the following: 1) Per plow bid for snow removal; 2) Quote for bulk snow removal if accumulation warrants it (per hour); and 3) Quote for each spread of salt/sand. Successful bidder is required to maintain and provide proof of a minimum $500,000 Commercial Liability Insurance policy and proof of Workers Comp Insurance (or sign waiver of WC insurance). An on-site review of the required snow removal area is necessary prior to submitting a bid. The COA Board of Advisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Letters of Interest or accept those that are in the best interest of the COA. Final approval will be on the agenda of the September 01, 2022 Antrim County Board of Commissioners Meeting.
