Scope of Work: The Work required for this Project includes: Replace damaged concrete rail crossings across three (3) tracks m the North Intermodal Rail Yard. Demolish existing concrete panels and asphalt paving. Remove existing track rails. Rebuild crossing with cast-in-place concrete. Replace rail tracks to match existing profile. Bid Estimate: Estimated cost range is $430,000 to $477,000, plus Washington State Sales Tax (WSST). In accordance with RCW 39.04.320, fifteen (15) percent apprenticeship participation is required for certain projects estimated to cost one million ($1,000,000) dollars or more. The Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of the entire Work within 30 calendar days of the date on which Substantial Completion is achieved. The liquidated damages for failure to achieve Substantial Completion by the required date shall be $300 per calendar day. After the required Final Completion date, the liquidated damages for failure toachieve Final Completion shall be $100 per calendar day.
