Renovation of an educational facility in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The renovation includes full gutting of the existing building, siding, and roofing down to the pre-engineered metal building frame. New siding and roofing packages to be installed, new interior partitions, renovated and enlarged ADA restrooms, significant electrical upgrades, and a new open air pre-engineered metal covered working space. There are also site concrete replacements of older dilapidated sidewalks. KCSD is not currently planning to participate in any of the construction work and the entire scope shown within the plans shall be performed by the awarded contractor. The project will be a public improvement project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, Prevailing Wage Rates. The work contemplated consists of the following: removal of existing partitions and equipment, removal and replacement of siding and roofing packages, new interior partitions, restrooms, janitorial and IT rooms, electrical upgrades, mechanical upgrades, plumbing modifications, exterior concrete, and a new open air pre-engineered metal covered working space. The owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the contract for sixty (60) days and may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements on these solicitation documents and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner, that it is in the public interest to do so.
