**As of August 23, 2022, project was awarded to Qualis General Contractors, awarded amount is $99,736.94** The City of Inverness is seeking sealed bids for removal and construction of a Pedestrian Connection at The Depot. All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Specifications prepared by the Owner. Bids shall be submitted for demolition, disposal, furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, equipment and services, including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities: Enhance the connection between The Depot on the south side of the Withlacoochee State Trail and the north side of the trail connecting to Liberty Park. CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 30 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion (60 days total). BID SECURITY: A 5% bid security will be required for this project, if contract price exceeds $100,000. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price, if it exceeds $100,000.
