Place of Performance: LaBranch, Norco, Louisiana The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a size standard of $32.5 million. A firm-fixed-price contract will be negotiated. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in December 2022. No state level certifications will be accepted. PROJECT INFORMATION: The estimated magnitude for this contract is between $25,000,000 and $50,000,000. The project's goal is to restore marsh that has been converted to open water. Project implementation will result in an increase of wildlife and fisheries habitat, acreage and diversity, along with improving water quality. In addition, the project will provide a storm buffer protection to Interstate 10, the region's primary westward hurricane evacuation route, and complement hurricane protection measures in the area. The project features consist of the creation of 1,200 acres of marsh using dedicated dredging from Lake Pontchartrain. In addition, 6,540 linear feet of tidal creeks will be created.
