The work includes general interior modernization of as many as 4 living units at Eunice Housing Authority Acadian Village Site. Work generally includes replacement of interior & exterior doors and frames, replacement of flooring, all interior wood trim, cabinets and countertops, plumbing fixtures, tub/shower surrounds, central HVAC units, condensing units and ductwork, all electrical up to and including electrical panels, hot water heaters, hot & cold water lines, gwb walls & overlay of gwb ceilings, interior painting. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, with the following information plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: 1. Bid for Eunice Housing, 2021 CFP, Acadian Village Site LA25-1, 2. Name of Contractor, and 3. License Number of Contractor. Note to Prospective Bidders: Bidders are requested to pay particular attention to HUD Document 5370 (11/2006) related to Section 40 "Employment, Training, and Contracting Opportunities for Low-Income Persons, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968."Successful Contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, sex, age, or national origin.
