Site work for a water / sewer project in Mayfield, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves the extension of municipal wastewater collection facilities within the Fulton County Sewer District No. 2. The work shall be completed within the sooner of 270 calendar days after the date the Contract Times commence to run or 180 days from the delivery of sewer piping to the Contractor and is subject to prevailing New York State wage rates, as well as the requirements for equal employment opportunity, all as described in the Contract Documents. Contracts will be awarded by the Town of Mayfield for Base Bid work and may be awarded by Fulton County for work described as Alternates. The Town of Mayfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any minor informalities or technicality at their discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Town of Mayfield, even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All bidders shall include a 5% bid bond and the selected contractor will be required to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds all as described within the Contract Documents.
