*Per Owner, project has been cancelled, no plans for immediate re-bid.* A motion on the bids will be made at the regular North Franklin Township meeting held at 5:30 PM on Tuesday August 9, 2022. The VANKIRK ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to mill and install 2 compacted 9.5 mm asphalt wearing course overlay on sections of Vankirk Road and repair a slip area. The bid envelopes must be clearly marked VANKIRK ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. North Franklin Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the projects. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by North Franklin Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
