Rehabilitation of 6 stormwater detention basins in Town. This would include clearing and grubbing, tree removal, installation of silt fence and silt socks, earth excavation, planatable soil burrow and hydroseeding. The bid documents will be on the town website Sealed Bids for STORMWATER DETENTION BASIN REHABILITATION CONTRACT 2022, will be received by the Town of Shrewsbury at the Town Hall office, 100 Maple Ave. Shrewsbury, MA 01545, until 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 16,2022 at that time and place Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.In the event the Town Hall offices are closed due to inclement weather, the bid opening will be postponed until the next day the DPW offices are openThe total contract price ofthis contract shall consist offurnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary for the complete and satisfactory performance as determined in the sole discretion ofthe Town. Contract Documents are available after 1:00 p.m. local time on Monday, August 8,2022 by going to Town Website. Contract Documents may also be examine, but not obtained, at the DPW office during the following hours: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-6:30 pm Tuesday and 8:00am12:00 pm Friday. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in form ofa certified check, cashier’s check or security bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid.
