The City of Brady is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified HVAC contractors for major HVAC contractor services pertaining to the full replacement of the existing HVAC boiler/blower unit in service at the Brady City Hall building located at 201 E. Main Street, Brady, Texas. In general, work consists of dismantling and removing of existing HVAC boiler/blower unit in its entirety including piping, ductwork, insulation, electrical and utility disconnections, and proper disposal. This Request for Proposal for a new HVAC system is intended to achieve a three (3) phase workflow sequence. Phase One (1): Technical narrative as proposed by HVAC Contractor describing general project approach and solution for completing Phase Two (2) and Phase Three (3). Phase Two (2): Dismantling, removal, and disposal of existing HVAC boiler/blower unit in its entirety; and Phase Three (3): New HVAC system installation, startup, and testing. All three phases comprise the total proposal response as developed by the HVAC Contractor. No phase is considered separate or a part of the other phases and, as such, proposal responses should take this into account. Before submitting your Proposal, please read all Request for Proposals requirements carefully. Proposals shall be evaluated and ranked according to the following criteria: Price valued at 50%; Experience valued at 15%; Capacity valued at 20% and Approach (narrative) valued at 15%.
