Renovation of a water / sewer project in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
* The project will not be awarded as it significantly exceeds budgeted amount. The new disposal system shall be installed by a licensed contractor that is certified in Nova Scotia for this type of work. All work must be in compliance with the Nova Scotia On-Site Sewage Disposal Systems Regulations and all drawings and specifications shall be read in conjunction with the Standard Specification for Municipal Services (Latest edition) as published by the Nova Scotia Road Builders Association - Consulting Engineers of Nova Scotia Joint Committee on Contract Documents. Tenderer agrees to complete the Work on or before November 30, 2023. The Contractor shall, prior to commencement of the Work, provide to the Owner within fourteen (14) days of acceptance of his Tender a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the Estimated Contract Price plus Harmonized Sales Tax. The cost of the bonds shall be borne by the Tenderer. Certified cheques or letters of credit shall be for fifteen percent (15%) of the contract value and made payable to the Owner
