The Town of Hope Mills is soliciting proposals for the services of a firm/team for the following contract scope of work: to provide preliminary engineering services (PE) for the construction of a concrete eight-foot-wide multi-use path along the eastern side of N. Main St. (NC-59), in front of the Hope Mills Lake Park in Hope Mills, NC. The path stretches from Lakeview Dr. to the entrance of the Lake Park concession stand. The Town of Hope Mills is soliciting proposals for the services of a firm/team for the following contract scope of work: to provide preliminary engineering services (PE) for the construction of an eight-foot-wide multi-use path along the eastern side of N. Main St. (NC-59), in front of the Hope Mills Lake Park in Hope Mills, NC, stretching from Lake View Dr. to the entrance of the Lake Park concession stand. The project will require the installation of approximately 815 feet of concrete pathway. At this time there is no anticipated right-of-way acquisition that will need to occur in association with this project. The Town anticipates the need to change utilities elevations (i.e., manholes, handholes etc.) and the re-grading of land to ensure adequate drainage, and ADA compliance. The project also requires the demolition, and removal of the existing 8-foot asphalt pathway. The construction of the multi-use path may also require the installation of at least two crosswalks and associated signage. PROPOSED CONTRACT TIME: 6 months + extensions pending authorization by the Town. PROPOSED CONTRACT PAYMENT TYPE: Lump sum; Invoiced every 30 days.
