Site work for a civil project in Bassett, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of pipe work, concrete placement, water tank relocation and erection, and tank painting. The work to be performed under this Contract shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory relocation of a standpipe water storage tank. Work includes Removal of existing tank located at 2965 Lakewood Forest Rd. Moneta VA., and construction of new foundation and installing the tank with nominal capacity of 18,000 gallons (11 feet diameter by 15 feet high). The tank is welded steel design. Installation of new pipe and appurtenances shall include valves, fittings and other incidentals. All new pipe and appurtenances shall extend 5 feet outside the foundation. All work on the water storage tank shall be in compliance with (AWWA D100 and D102) the latest revision of AWWA Standards.
