Plans call for the construction of a new football field using synthetic turf, a synthetic paved track surface, bleachers with a press box, areas for track and field sports and program buildings. The facilities will include supporting restrooms, concessions, entry gates and pavement walkways. River Valley School District will be accepting bids for the Athletic Facilities Phase 1 Utility Relocation, Repair, and Replacement Project. The project includes replacement of 980 lineal feet of 8" existing Sanitary Main Sewer, 620 lineal feet of new 8" Sanitary Main Sewer Alignment, 90 lineal feet of 6" lateral replacement, two lateral wye and reconnections, seven (7) sanitary manhole replacements, four (4) new sanitary manholes, with a doghouse and flat-top sanitary manhole. The storm culvert relocations will include two new inlet tie-ins to existing, 70 lineal feet of 24" SLCPP, 600 lineal feet of 36" SLCPP, and an end wall structure. Existing sidewalk and curb will be demolished for new Asphalt driveway pavements. Bid BOnd of 10% required. Performance and Payment Bonds 100% required on Award.
