Project Category Code: Water Storage Tank, Water Tower Rehabilitation and Repair, Water and Wastewater Facilities. Description: The Project includes the furnishing of all labour and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following: A. Coat existing walls and ceiling in specified areas. B. Abrasive blast existing coatings on most all existing process piping in specified areas of the plant and repaint with two-part epoxy coatings. C. Provide surface preparation of all existing floor coatings throughout the plant and install a new epoxy flooring system. D. Insulate raw water piping in hallway. Additional Description: The Work will be substantially completed on or before December 15, 2022 with bid alternates for a January 16, 2023 substantial completion date and a February 15, 2023 substantial completion date. Only Contractors with prior experience of meeting the contract substantial and final completion dates on previous projects in the City of Plymouth will be considered for a potential contract award for this project. The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City of Plymouth shall comply with the provisions of the statute. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
