Site work for a water / sewer project in Noble, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Construction of (briefly describe nature, scope, and major elements of the work): South First Street Waterline Replacement Project, including 1,190 of 4" PVC Waterline, Valves, and Ancillary Work A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Village of Noble, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the general prevailing rate of wages in Noble for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or perform such work shall be paid. Also, the general prevailing rate of wages for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker to execute the contract or to perform the work. The prevailing rate of wages are set forth in the Contract Documents. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Village of Noble reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. A Substance Abuse Policy shall be submitted before a contract is signed. Bids may be held by the Village of Noble for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the The procurement will be subject to regulations contained in the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570), and the federal "Build America, Buy America Act" requirements contained in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Pub. L. No. 117-58. Bidders are also required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in 41 CFR 60-4."
