Demo and remove Carrier Heat Pump RTU using crane. Furnish and install Heat Pump RTU of equal or greater specifications as existing unit being replaced, including, but not necessarily limited to, heating kits specifications, power connection type, louvered hail guards, economizers specifications, 460V-3Phase-60Hz, cooling stages, communicating control compatible with existing thermostat, and nominal capacity (7.5-ton unit). Reconnect electric to new RTU. Connect new unit to existing thermostat. Provide new control wire as required. Perform start-up of new equipment. Demolition Work: Contractor shall remove existing HVAC unit system, noted within the scope of work description in this invitation to bid, in its entirety. 2. Execution of Work: The contractor shall coordinate the performance of all work 10 working days in advance. The contractor shall be responsible for protection of adjacent surfaces and areas not to receive work. The contractor will be responsible for providing and furnishing all equipment needed to perform the work of the project.
