The Project generally consists of pavement patching, resurfacing, and pavement markings along Lebanon Street, Railroad Street, North Street and Cherry Street within the Town of Lizton. The Town will enter into the contract with the low bidder on August 8, 2022 after the low bidder has been determined at the Town Council meeting, the low bidder must be present to sign the contract. A Notice to Proceed will not be issued until the Town receives the funds from the INDOT. The typical timeframe is 4 to 6 weeks from submission of the signed contract to INDOT. It is anticipated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued mid-September 2022. The Project is being funded through the Indiana Department of Transportation Community Crossing Grant program .No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 90 days to allow review of proposals before announcing award of contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the work contemplated therein. The Owner has the right to reject any proposal or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or proposals, or to make such combination of proposal as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding.
