We intend to select the sports turf contractor for the project based on this competitive process and then work with that Contractor for the duration of the project to assist with the following • Advise on sequencing of the required scope • The determination of ‘means and methods • Provide access to area where discarded materials can be hauled, • Advise in the acquisition of required materials • Conduct periodic inspections to verify appropriate materials, placement and construction. The work to be performed generally includes: A design / build project to address The renovation of the Vail Athletic Field including new irrigation, turf work (stripping, grading with crown, sub grade material and install new turf), perimeter drainage and root barrier, and installation of Rugby goal posts.
