Prospective bidders are hereby notified that the Jurupa Community Services District, California (District) will receive bids for the District's Annual Waterline Replacement Project (Rutile Street Area) The project consists of furnishing, installing, testing, and making operational approximately 3,940 L.F. of 8-inch and 3,905 L.F. of 12-inch diameter C-909 PVC waterline, removing approximately 3,900 L.F. of existing 6-inch diameter VCP sewerline and furnishing, installing, testing and making operational approximately 3,900 L.F. of 8-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC sewerline, removing and replacing existing sewer manholes, rehabilitating existing sewer manholes and installing cured-in-place lining in approximately 650 L.F. of existing 8-inch diameter VCP sewerline; make all connections to existing waterlines, all appurtenances, and all associated paving, trenching, and surface restoration; abandonment of existing water lines, installation of new water service and meter box; import materials; excavation, backfilling, compaction, paving, traffic control and all other work and materials to complete the contract work. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, transportation, tools, supplies, plant, equipment, and appurtenances, unless specifically excepted, for the satisfactory completion of the entire contract work, in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. The District has determined that a Class A (General Engineering Contractor) license is necessary to bid this project. If the bidder is a specialty contractor, the bidder is alerted to the requirements of Business and Professions Code Section 7059.
